I am happy to see the Illinois Secure Choice making headway. The default 5% savings rate with the ability to opt-out is a great, low effort way to encourage savings. Right now, it sounds like only about $575 a year per person is going into the program. It is low, but better than nothing, and it appears to be growing steadily.
