* From former Sen. Martin Sandoval’s plea agreement…
CW-1 asked how much SANDOVAL wanted to be paid in protection money for acting to advance Company A’s interests in the Illinois Senate, and SANDOVAL asked, “But how would we do that? So how many companies do you have?… Do you have a bologna company or something innocuous?”
* People are starting to have fun with it online…

The man has no sense of history. I think bribe payers should have to own shoe stores and deliver all bribes in shoe boxes
I suppose small bribes could be delivered in fake Lincoln stove pipe hats

Maybe *that’s* why they pulled the Weinermobile over a couple days ago. The “move over law” violation was just the probable cause.

—I was talking to an ERA lady recently. She was fretting that the amendment might again fail in Illinois, after all of her hard work.
She showed me a list of about a dozen legislators and asked if I had any idea what kind of approach would work in bringing them around to her side.
I said: “Make the drop.”
She looked puzzled and asked, “Make the what?”
“The drop. Give them some money.”
She still didn’t understand. “Money? For what?”
“Bribes.”
She looked horrified and gasped: “Bribes?”
“Well, you can call it a campaign contribution, if it will make you feel better.”—
