Members of my family have had these attacks and they’re not fun at all. I had mine checked out as part of this summer’s long list of routine medical checkups and it came back negative. Everything else was fine, too, by the way. I hope I’m not jinxing myself, but as of this moment I have no more medical appointments scheduled for at least six months.

ok, I’ll say it..the Bears are the least convincing 3-0 team I’ve ever seen. And congrats to the Cardinals.

First time in history that Illinois’ “local teams” the Sox, Cubs, and Cardinals, have made the playoffs in the same year. Plus the Brewers as a bonus (in case there are actually some Brew Crew fans in far northern Illinois).

I wasn’t confident the Tax amendment was going to pass until Trump’s taxes became public, and now billionaires not paying taxes is all over the news.

Glad I decided to keep watching the Bears game yesterday. It’s against bad teams that they came back so dramatically, but still, gotta love the no-quit in that team. Loved how the QB replacement worked out.

Check out Mary Miller’s pictures from Darren Bailey’s Farm Fundraiser. It has flags (and more flags), Christmas decorations and Bailey arriving in a muscle car. Nary a mask in sight.

My best to Rep. Bryant for a speedy recovery.
Rich, glad to hear, stay safe, be well.

Glad all tests came out well Rich. Getting older means spending more time in the doctor’s office. Not fun, but wise. Don’t forget to get the shingles vaccine. You don’t want shingles.

Great comeback by the Bears. Recognized a name on the Falcons. One of their receivers is the grandson of a college teammate.

I’ve voted. Got my ballot in the mail Saturday, filled it out and put it in the drop box by the Board of Elections office. I trust the local post office but this seemed a safer option.

Best wishes to Rep Bryant for a speedy recovery. Gall bladder problems are no fun at all.

Rain - glorious rain in parched southern IL this morning!

Hi all - former IL politico here who has been unplugged for a little while (save Capitol Fax reads). I’m visiting my dad who used to follow things and asked about Madigan. I’m looking for a good article that summarizes all that has been going on between Madigan and ComEd in the state that I can share with him. Any suggestions?

Glad to hear you’re still among us, Rich.
Cook County State’s Attorney’s race heats up as I received robocall for Pat O’Brien’s campaign.
Bears finally get a clue; now 3-0. Can they beat Green Beans Sunday?
Why carmakers made so much junk that made it to the used car market is a mystery, and of course it’s my turn to have to buy one…

So disappointed to hear Roe Conn was removed from wgn.
I really enjoyed his show. Hope he lands on his feet again.
I kept thinking he was on vacation, I think I did last time he got canned too
