Milton Township GOP warns voters of “an election day surprise” because Pritzker is putting restrictions “on predominately Republican counties”
Friday, Oct 23, 2020 - Posted by Rich Miller * From an email sent this afternoon by the Milton Township Republican Organization…
Whatever works, I suppose. Gotta get those voters motivated one way or another. * Also, for good measure…

GOP is pulling out all the stops in the final two weeks. Pretty soon Bailey will be driving a tank through southern Illinois warning voters of hoards of gay Spanish speaking Muslims coming for their guns and making them wear masks.

“The Democrats, know that Republicans “like to see their vote counted” as opposed to the Democrats who have voted by mail for years.”
So are they saying that they don’t need to vote because the Democratic mail in votes won’t be counted? Glad that’s settled.
Who knew spending months discounting VBM during a pandemic could backfire?

=Vote YES! on all propositions & judges, except the marijuana proposition.=
Looks like Milton Township GOP may have just endorsed the Fair Tax….

Give Me A Break - Thank you for the the laugh - I needed that today desperately. Sadly - it would not surprise me down here…

===…predominately Republican counties===
The way things are looking, DuPage claiming to be “predominantly Republican” might not hold up in 11 days?
If that’s the premise, the fear of the county flipping more of a blue-ish color, it makes sense to gin up things.
Using Covid and the Governor as they are… “ok”…
Are they also advocating “more” people in polling places than medically appropriate?
Makes me think about the Wisconsin Speaker of the House talking about how safe voting was… wearing a “haz-mat” suit on while saying it.

Reading that it sounds like they just said to vote Yes on the graduated tax. Surely I missed something?

This can’t be a real GOP email; it doesn’t even mention Madigan.
- Just Me 2 - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 2:36 pm:
Yeah, J.B. brought over a virus from China just to make it harder to vote in Republican counties so he could pass his tax increase plan.

Good one Duck.

the whole vote by mail is bad an un-American line of thinking is so weird.
No one tell them about Nebraska and Utah
- Benniefly2 - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 2:49 pm:
Now I am confused. I live in Milton Township and there was nothing about marijuana on my ballot. Are there multiple Milton Townships or something?
- Bruce( no not him) - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 2:52 pm:
And don’t forget to show up on 11/2 to get a good place in line. The Democrats are only going to let the first 50 people in line into vote.

= I live in Milton Township and there was nothing about marijuana on my ballot.=
It’s probably referring to the advisory referendum in Glen Ellyn: “Shall the Village permit the sale of recreational cannabis within Village limits?”
- Pundent - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 3:18 pm:
Looks like the attempts to disrupt mail and early voting aren’t exactly paying off. If anything they’ve energized folks to do it now given where things stand with the virus. And of course with a lot of people with extra time on their hands and extended hours at the early voting site there’s really no reason not to vote now.
- Montrose - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 3:34 pm:
With both sides working so hard to repress voters, I am shocked anyone has been able to cast a ballot. /s
- MyTwoCents - Friday, Oct 23, 20 @ 4:10 pm:
The fact that the GOP is alleging voter suppression is the height of hilarity. I thought voter suppression is what today’s GOP is all about?
