Me and Jay Hoffman will definitely not be utilizing the tips in the above video, but I do know some folks who will find it handy.

i understand why you referred to Quentin Fulks as “Q,” but, if that is truly his nickname, i would recommend that he change it. Q on a national level has come to mean something very different, something gross. just a probably meaningless thought, but the letter Q provokes quite a visceral reaction for some folks these days on both sides.

Do they make a special mask for pumpkin heads?

Caprara is right about the vitriol, it’s toxic. Social media, particularly Facebook, has rotted people’s brains. It makes elected representatives terrified of their constituents, look what Stava Murray went through for voting her conscience on criminal justice reform.

The only social media account I keep is for professional purposes. Even then I am only on it reluctantly as many recruiters use it as their primary search tool. Social media had great potential but devolved into a cesspool. I quit Facebook a decade ago and do not miss it in the slightest.

Small Faces…I thought we were in for a clip of Itchykoo Park.

I think a good caption contest would be to fill out the rest of that sentence:
“Me and Jay Hoffman will definitely not _____”

I had a small face once. When I was 2

Interesting. My fat face and beard don’t really need it, but it’s always cool seeing what “life hacks” people come up with.

wonder if this is also useful for the rest of us, creating a tighter mask.

I see the legislature wants to make the Illinois State Historian an honorific position.
As well as removing some hiring responsibilities for the executive director.
Seems like unnecessary moves.

@SixDegreesofSeparation, thanks for the reminder. Dancing to one of the best tunes ever.

Stop. Right now.
That bill has one sponsor. One. If you can’t understand what that means, then you need to go to another website.

Sorry Rich. Nothing nefarious intended on my part. I know you cover ALPLM in your blog. I just worded it poorly.

Saw the video on a hack for tightening a surgical mask a couple weeks ago, and have been using it ever since - it really helps a lot.

Agree on our opinion of Blago. At least pre-impeachment vote.

Just bought some new masks from Banana Republic. Somehow that name resonates differently that it used to.

Good news. After hammering the Sangamon County Public Health web site every 5 seconds for a hour, I managed to snag 2 appointnents for covid shots.
They seem to be releasing appointments every minute or two.
- Anotheretiree - Friday, Feb 5, 21 @ 11:17 am:
-RNUG- Had a similar experience. The dates that show up are all over the place..One will be Feb 15 then the next is March 12…makes me wonder if people are trying to move ahead and freeing up dates as people cancel for some reason appointments elsewhere ? Its odd. Something that bothers me, I am 64 with no real health issues. By default I am in group 2. 1B is 65 and up. 1C is 16-64 with health issues. Group 2 mentions 16-30. 31-64 aren’t mentioned. This summer when I hit 65 I will jump two groups to 1B. I think 31-64 should be in 1C.

Can we see more videos on “rolling?” Asking for a friend.
- RNUG - Friday, Feb 5, 21 @ 1:27 pm:
- Anotheretiree - yeah, the dates were all over February and March. I landed one for Mrs next week, and one for me the end of the month.
I’ll be driving her there. At one time, they were taking drivers also if they fit the criteria. So if I also get taken at her appointment, my end of the month one would get freed up. That might be what is happening with some the ones we are seeing …
