A lot of water out there. I need to check our basement, but it has been good the past few years. Here is what our local park looked like 2 days ago: https://preview.redd.it/dez245xhip771.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=5f2474b33b062cd645b3f6f08dc4c422d11f615a

Here is what it looks like normally: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/40/Boneyard_Creek_Second_Street_Basin_Champaign_Illinois_from_south.jpg

Even the Alden buyout didn’t want Katrina.

  4. - ZC - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 8:04 am:

There is a major U.S. city board that can out-patronage and out-incompetent Chicago.

  5. - hisgirlfriday - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 8:50 am:

Yesterday Darin LaHood once again voted in favor of continuing to honor the Confederacy and Dred Scott author with statues in the U.S. Capitol.

Mike Bost changed his vote from 2020 when he was against the Confederacy to now support Confederate statues in 2021.

    Mary Miller didn’t vote.

Davis and Kinzinger were the lone Illinois GOP to show fealty to the Union.

  6. - Annonin' - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 9:07 am:

LaHood, son of the convicted Ex=Congressman continues to show his genius and better inform his voters what mutt they sent to DC.

  7. - Duke - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 9:12 am:

Going hiking at Starved Rock this weekend. Wait - there has been a lot of rain… going kayaking near Starved Rock this weekend.

  8. - Candy Dogood - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 9:31 am:

Sometimes I look at this and try to decide how much net migration might change the landscape of Illinois literally and metaphorically over the next few decades as refugees from climate change start flooding north.

  9. - Huh? - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 9:51 am:

Duke - rivers are too high and flowing too fast to go kayaking. LaSalle County is under flash flood warnings.

  10. - Anyone Remember - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 10:55 am:

It’s the last day of FY 2021, and as of today’s OAG audit releases, no FY 2020 CAFR.

Thought the ERP was going to ensure on time CAFRs …

  11. - 14th ward - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 11:21 am:

Will my great city of Chicago, be a safe place this 4th. What will it take to calm things down?.

  12. - BTO2 - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 11:43 am:

Chatham’s water supply is not up today.

  13. - EssentialStateEmployeeFromChatham - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 12:20 pm:

==Chatham’s water supply is not up today.==

Due to computer failures that led to low water pressure in town earlier this morning. On boil order now but Village is getting their equipment to work manually temporarily which will increase pressure.

This is the first boil order I have heard of caused by computer failure.

  14. - Deep South - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 12:26 pm:

==Mike Bost changed his vote from 2020 when he was against the Confederacy to now support Confederate statues in 2021.==

Clearly, Mike is trying to please Dear Leader…he doesn’t want to get primaried.

  15. - RNUG - Wednesday, Jun 30, 21 @ 2:08 pm:

It needs to quite raining. My yard is getting out of control.
