Where is the one about weed?
- Bill Brasky - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:00 pm:
That’s a lot of money for a guy who doesn’t know if he’s running

I must be doing Facebook wrong, only go on once or twice a week but never been served up any of those ads.

Spending $400K on Facebook…
And the GOP folks running against him… isn’t that almost the most one has on hand?
SoS or Treasurer… those are better bets

But Bailey gave us hog farms and hoot and nannies.

I like the ads, simple and direct.

Goggling the hashtag reveals 3 results. Whatever they’re doing, it doesn’t appear to be trending.

Red Wave Illinois: “We gave you COVID”
====>Democrats voted against it.

Kinda puts Raoul’s miserable fundraising in a different light, eh?
- Frank talks - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:23 pm:
Be really cool if this was DPI doing these to help Dems all over the state.
- Responsa - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:28 pm:
Well, these stretchy claims prove that Blue Wave Illinois hopes that voters are incapable of nuance. I have not seen any of these ads either before this post.

=Frank Talk= Look at the bright side. Kinda Chairperson Robin Kelly might figure the whole law thingy out in a few months.

There are some similar billboards up along suburban highways also. I saw some on my drive from Springfield to O’Hare on Monday.
- SaulGoodman - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:39 pm:
There are bunch of these on billboards too. But you can’t read half of the billboard because the design/font size is lousy.
- Grandson of Man - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:39 pm:
Have not seen them yet, but love the simple messaging. It could have been simpler, like “Republicans” instead of “Republican legislators,” but that’s nothing big. Theses are not needed, just simple and direct messaging.
Hope one on the Child Tax Credit is done (that’s a big one): “Democrats cut child poverty nearly in half. Republicans voted against it.”

Saw this on a billboard on 39 just south of Rockford today. Agree with the other poster who said it doesn’t quite work as a billboard. Have not seen it on Facebook (yet).
- Cheryl44 - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 3:54 pm:
“Republican legislators” places the blame exactly where it belongs.
- skutt - Friday, Jul 16, 21 @ 4:09 pm:
I saw some of these billboards on the expressway in Chicago a few days ago.

He recently updated his twitter profile to say his priorities are “Faith, Family, Farming”. I keep having flashbacks to the film dodgeball and the 5 d’s “Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge”.
