Having kids wear masks or obtain a vaccine (if old enough) in the midst of a pandemic isn’t common sense? Normally when a parent purposely puts their kid in harms way somebody calls the authorities.
I would wear a mask for a long time if it meant that grifter politicians like Darren Bailey would go away.
I’d bet a sizeable sum of money that he’s is fully vaccinated and just refuses to admit it.

Replace vaccines and masks with required clothing to be in public, and it sounds even better.
“Let me be clear, if you want to be clothed or want to wear pants, I hope you get one. I will help you get one if you need help. But anyone who wants to force pants on children or force them to be clothed is a tyrant.”
One would think the Bailey would tone down his rhetoric on this since his brother in law is on a ventilator in a St. Louis hospital. I going out on a limb here but maybe he’s not the family man everyone thinks he is. I realize this is all spurred from the notion that the Governor is signing an Executive Order about masks in schools. DeVore has already come out with a Facebook live video about how it’s not legal and how terrible it is.
Yet they praise the Governor of Florida for signing an Executive Order prohibiting School Districts from issuing a mask mandate. Who’s on first?

I want to throw my Foamation cheese brick at the TV whenever a talking head tells us that we shouldn’t shame folks who are falling in lockstep with the anti-health GOP Covidiots.
When you’re still pandering to the 23% or so Covidiot, ‘Merica “sheeple”, you’re probably not a serious person to lead a state during a pandemic crisis.
What is great is Bailey reminds us constantly and consistently he’s not a serious person to help eradicate Covid.
Local school boards on the North Shore, where masking compliance has been very high, and people were slow to remove masks even when the mandate went away, are being inundated with right-wing talking points, often from out of town voices, or from people who have no involvement in the schools or in a children in the schools. They’re trying to drown out local control, local parents, and the students themselves. It’s frustrating.
It’s a mask mandate, not a gag order. Although in Bailey’s case, forcing him to keep quiet would do more to improve public health than just about any other strategy.
