Cantanzara whining about the coming vaccine mandate needs to find another line of grift, if he doesn’t take the shot. He’s a danger to the public that he supposedly serves and protects.
Unvaxxed people. I’m all for the haves and have nots. If you choose to not get vaccinated then be ready for businesses, employers, and government entities to choose to not allow you to participate. Let freedom ring across the land!
Oh, you mean what’s my complaint. Releasing Octoberfest beer in August. Please. Wait until September.

My beef is I’m sick of rain. Every week at least an inch. Yards look April green instead of August brown.

Some stores have been releasing Halloween-related merchandise as early as shortly after July 4. Even Halloween candy. Does “Halloween candy” sold early even make it to October to begin with? They probably don’t even make it much past Week 1 of the NFL.
I honestly don’t understand those fighting against vaccines in the workplace. If you don’t want the vaccine, fine, then quit. The rest of us want our workplace to be as healthy as possible.
My main beef nowadays is for national “news” sources who continue to lie to their audience because its what their audience wants to hear (and because it makes them so much money). I have longtime friends who are so far down the Newsmax/OANN (because Fox is now a “liberal” network to them) rabbit hole that we can’t even have a basic discussion about any national issue. When you are told that you are right and everyone else is wrong on a 24 hour a day loop , you become immune to the reality (and now a heath threat to those around you. I really though that if Covid started sickening and killing children they would come around , but sadly no…)
I can’t wait to see this years report on the Springfield state fair money spent/lost by the citizens of Illinois, although the indirect costs will be oddly askew/inaccurate this year. Of course, we will not see one for the Southern free entry fair as a report on annual looses is oddly not required nor calculated.

Beef?? Jimbooo’s Italian Beef (formerly in South Holland, now in Thornton).
Other beefs: The Cubs collapse, Covidiots, the temp-humidity index is too d*** high (#RIP Herman Caine), people driving like idiots, and not enough friendly dogs in my life to hang out with (and sometimes unscheduled naps).

Johnnie’s… and they serve the best pepper and egg.
No real “beef” so to speak. Not celebrating the Cubs stopping a 13 home skid with a W, that’s just sad all the way around.

Oh, you can’t beat Nottoli’s on Harlem for old school Chicago Italian atmosphere, beefs, subs, and, for you Willy, the cannoli.

I’ll check it out. Thanks.
Can’t get enough of good cannoli, which is relatively *any* cannoli.
