Musical interlude: Loving Cup
Wednesday, Aug 25, 2021 - Posted by Rich Miller * Charlie Watts knew all the way down to his very soul that it isn’t so much the notes you play, it’s the spaces between those notes that truly matter. He also knew when to just sit quiet and when to come in hard and drive a song - and his band - forward. He does both so impeccably well here… Feel your mouth kissing me again

It’s moments like these that remind me that life is short and I’m much closer to the finish line than I care to think about.

I was fortunate to attend the last Stones concert with Charlie on August 30, 2019 in Miami, FL. He was a perfect compliment to Mick, Keith and Ronnie. RIP and thanks for the music.

thank you for the great programming this morning with this beautiful song. read an obit and it said that Charlie roomed with Mick and Keith when he lost his day job. can you imagine their mornings. now I can.

I really do love this song. Phish introduced me to it as they have the best cover in my opinion.
There’s also a coffee place that I’ve been to at some festivals called the loving cup that has some phenomenal coffee.

With The Dude I abide. Found the Stones version after and quickly became a fan.
