What gloomy weather we’ve had for the last month or so. That’s about to end, thankfully, though it will get too hot for the season. Must have sunshine.
Recently, many times when I go to view a You Tube video I get a short 10 second ad narrated by a smiling lady with a slight accent saying “Thanks to Gov. JB Pritzker I am saving money on basic expenses such as Groceries and gas.” Lol. Really? A little bit of a misfire there, Pritzker campaign? Have any of you actually been to a grocery store or gas station lately?
What an incredible State Fair line up this year. Brooks and Dunn, Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, TLC, Disturbed, Demi Lovato, Sam Hunt. SOmething for everyone! I wonder if I can just rent a room in the old grandstands.
In their 2020 edition, the Old Farmer’s Almanac predicted the new climate for the Ohio River Valley would be spring and fall lasting six to eight weeks combined.
Here we be.

Checking in from Florida today. Gives me a renewed appreciation for the Midwest in general, but specifically Illinois.

420.48 ppm atmosphere CO2. I will now attempt to make this Illinois-centric by quietly grumbling about the Prairie State Energy Campus.
