I’m going tomorrow afternoon. Love me some day baseball. Retired now so not officially playing hooky, but still fun.
I believe the Sox will make the expanded playoffs somehow. The only question is if they can avoid the first round curse they’ve had recently.
Yes, the defense is horrible, and the relief pitching was awful last night. But why, oh why, were they pitching in the 11th to the guy that already had 5 RBI?? That one’s on LaRussa.
- Pride of Canton - Tuesday, May 10, 22 @ 4:05 pm:
The Guardians: they’ll eventually fade like last year, still young. But the Sox better get moving this year, because things will be more interesting in the next few.
Lock prediction of the day? Josh Naylor will get plunked tonight.
Go Sox! Enjoy the game Rich. My dad was a South paw pitcher during the depression but No one would pay.Ha! He was a friend of Dizzy Dean and introduced me to him as we sat behind him as Dizzy did game of the week at Comisky Park
I am a Cardinals fan along with a Sox fan
As someone who has been deemed, “not a real White Sox fan,” I don’t really care. Don’t care if they win, or lose. Just waiting out the Maricopa County Pinball so I can enjoy the Sox again.

Not so excellent last night, coughing up a six-run lead in the ninth. Would think the Sox will make the playoffs. Not doing so will be a failure for a team with high expectations.
Wainwright, Molina and Pujos will leave the Cardinals at the end of the season.
I see them all as transitioning to coach positions. Molina especially.
As for my favorite team, grandsons t-ball team is looking great.

White Sox in the series - no prediction either way from there. Last night was literally nauseating, but they have too much talent now, too much coming back from injury, and they’re going to make better deals at the trade deadline. Lance Lynn’s arm is going to be rested this year come playoff time!

My Kenosha Twins moved to Indiana in the 90s.
I should probably move on by now.

The Chicago National League Ball Club.

“The Cubs’ attendance is down, the payroll down more, the starting pitching down for the count.
This is a bad team”
Only 2 teams are worse in all of baseball.
There’s no want to be better from the front office all the way up to ownership.
This is the ball club, it’s already a “next year” vibe.
Have a good time, Rich

Only thing left as Cubs fan is odds of when the Manager gets fired.

Cardinals: Mired in Above Average.

Are you traveling from Springfield? The Metra from Joliet to Comiskey is currently at a discount ($4 each way).
- Three Dimensional Checkers - Tuesday, May 10, 22 @ 3:50 pm:
I’d say White Sox World Series, but not if they play like they did last night.
- Keyrock - Tuesday, May 10, 22 @ 3:51 pm:
I haven’t recovered from last night yet. All I see is bad defense and doom.
Hope you can bring victory.
- Murph - Tuesday, May 10, 22 @ 3:51 pm:
Losses…lots of them
- G'Kar - Tuesday, May 10, 22 @ 4:01 pm:
My Buccos will finish ahead of the Cubs.
