Hopefully everyone is safe after the storms over the last couple days. It looks like areas in Jasper, Richland, and Clay Counties got hit with multiple backbuilding storms with some places getting 10+ inches of rain. Be safe out there if you encounter floodwater.
The I-72 corridor between Springfield and Decatur got drenched this morning, some areas up to 6 inches. Some of those areas had been getting into slight to moderate drought conditions prior
@Big Dipper, I think that Kass is angry that he cannot continue to comment on Chicago as if he is a resident. His hypocrisy was unmasked. And you are right about the Sox. every year is the year. and so it goes.

About the heavy rain and flooding…
I have said for some time that when they build/built the Interstate Highway System, there should have been 48-inch or so culverts built down the center medians. However many pumping stations it would take to move flood waters to firestruck areas could not exceed the billions of dollars in damage done by the fires and floods.
Oh my, I really enjoyed reading that. Seems like without having an editor, Steinberg can speak his mind and get as esoteric as he wants to be. I think I will read him more going forward.

“Our worse weather is a week away when State Fair number one starts.” That’s when it will get hot. Today it’s heavy weather.

Kass didn’t like that it was reported that he fled to Indiana. Wonder if he will imagine a Combine there?
