This is how I come home every night. I open the door to Oscar’s room and say hi. He runs to the top of the stairs and dances around and then kisses me when I arrive. Then he runs to the back door so I can let him go outside. It’s like having my own cartoon character 😂 pic.twitter.com/KskAdT3ZL9
Baloneymous, Oscar has a tendency to drink and eat too fast and it makes him hiccup and he gets all depressed, so I bought him some bowls that force him to slow his roll a bit.
God I love dogs. When I get home, I open the door from the garage into the house and my cocker spaniel sticks her snout through the crack, then starts dancing. As I open the door fully, she jumps up on my leg, tail wagging like crazy as I lean down for dog kisses. After she considers me properly greeted, she stands at the back door to be let in the back yard to do her business and see if she can chase a rabbit or squirrel. It never fails to make me feel fantastic.
Dogs are such wonderful creatures and companions. Our Brittany Spaniel does a crazy dance every day after dinner until I give him a little treat. He does remind me of a cartoon at times.
I will have get a bowl — to fill with beer to cutback on gulping.
This reminds us of Carol Burnett joining the final episodes on Better Call Saul. She has been shown how to play cat videos on her new laptop. She laughs a lot. Does not differ much to someone making dog video, posting on his blog and we all make pithy comments. Time to go outside.
Oscar, like my dog, somehow puts everything in its proper perspective. If you have a pal like that to come home to, it remedies the pustule that is politics.
I have my own cartoon character dog named Oscar! He wold love to meet your Oscar - he’s a friend to all dogs, even the yappy little ones and grumpy old ones (which clearly your Oscar isn’t).

Thank you Rich.
Cherish Oscar everyday. I hope you have many great years together.
I had never heard of a slow feed bowl until three months ago when we were in the process of adopting our dog; her foster suggested we get her one. It seems to go well for her.
I miss all my dog friends I made; some of their owners, still alive, not so much. Sometimes a cold nose is all it takes to live for another day. And cats are so Tsundere, but some of them also took to me for some reason.
Not to change the subject but a sad day for fans and followers of Illinois high school basketball and its history, as well as for the entire Peoria area.
Legendary former Peoria Manual coach Dick Van Scyoc has passed away at age 98. His last team, the 1994 Manual team, was the first of four consecutive AA titles for the Rams:

Oscar is such a good boy. He brings such joy, he’s so happy.
This is a great start to a Friday.
Thank you.

Sweet.
If my dog thinks I am oversleeping, she grabs a sock from the laundry basket, and tries to shove it in my ear.
- Just Sayin - Friday, Aug 5, 22 @ 9:12 am:
I am sure Oscar was especially happy that the Cubs got swept yesterday. With the Cardinals providing the janitorial service.
- Flapdoodle - Friday, Aug 5, 22 @ 9:18 am:
Very sweet — Oscar shows such joy and excitement.
Our cats basically say, “Oh — you again?”

Second OW’s great comment. Oscar is just what we needed for this Friday. Thank you Rich.

You’re a lucky man, Rich. There’s nothing like the unconditional love from from your dog! Good day, bad day, anything in between, just unconditional.

Proof that dogs are better than most people. My lab passed away last week, she was 11. Yesterday received her ashes back.
Oscars video brought back happy memories of mine being excited when I got home. She would run into me, demand her hug and then to go outside.
Thank you Rich for posting a great video.
