Glasgow is arguing that just because DNA tests show that the hair found on the victim’s glove didn’t belong to the convicted man, does not mean his conviction should be reconsidered.
His argument? DNA tests didn’t exist at the time of the crime.
The DNA evidence was there, mind you, we just didn’t know how to test it.
The DNA has been positively identified as belonging to one of four brothers who lived in the area of the murder at the time.
Bought tickets to an SPHL Peoria Rivermen game in Bloomington this weekend. At least via Ticketmaster (seriously, TM needs to go out of business), a surprisingly large number of tickets seem to have been sold already. Hopefully a good sign for the future well-being of the ECHL Bloomington Bison when they start up next season.
Don’t think D.C. is sending their best when it comes to the surrogates Bost and Bailey are trotting out on their behalf.
Bost had Ronny “Dr. Feelgood” Jackson with him on the stump the other day.
And Matt Gaetz, who Bost was rumored to have tried to physically fight after McCarthy’s ouster, is keynoting a rally for Bailey despite being under House Ethics investigation for relations with a minor.
Beautiful day for now in 60634 and I actually have the day off. Also getting a new grill delivered today (first one I’ve owned other than a small charcoal camper sized one). So it feels like Spring…until the next snowfall, of course. It is still February after all.
