The missus, kid, and I drove up from B-N to Chicago for the long weekend, noticed in passing that there was basically no snow on the ground past Dwight or a bit further north, and then completely forgot about it over the weekend in Chicago.
Then we drove down Monday afternoon and were initially confused at there being random bits of snow by the side of the highway once we hit Pontiac, before remembering… oh yeah, we got a decent dusting just before the weekend, didn’t we.
watched the first episode of CNN Jake Tapper’s United States of Scandal which premiered on Sunday night. It was about Blago and yes, Tapper had him in a bar for an interview. It’s an interesting watch, Elvis bits and all. People you know give commentary, folks you know are in photos. Must watch.
I’m shocked that Comed’s billing system is still unavailable despite the fact they have said all week that everything would be completed on Monday. (end sarcasm) Anyone want to take bets on how many more days/weeks it will take them to get things figured out?
