Unless I have missed it, I am surprised that neither AFSCME, SEIU, IFPE or the other state employee unions have not weighed in on the Manar/Governor’s Office threat to cut $800 million in agency budgets unless the Governor’s proposed revenue enhancements were passed.
Kim Foxx, please go away. Do not wait until December. Leave at once.
Foxx has announced that she will no longer prosecute crimes that were discovered as the result of traffic stops. SCOTUS ruled that such prosecutions were constitutional in Carroll v. United States which was decided almost a century ago.
No one has damaged the quality of life in Cook County more than this soft on crime prosecutor.
