My department is dressed as hippies - far out, man.
Tonight is my tradition: heating frozen deep dish from Giorgio’s (Crystal Lake), red wine, and a Halloween playlist.

Early returns suggest the Sox have hired a good manager for next season. It couldn’t be worse, right?? Hope springs eternal, as they say….

Wow… Every tooth must represent each win by the Sox from June 30 through Sept 13.

Wore my skull and crossbones tie to work. Leaving early to take my toddler and one year old trick-or-treating.
I’d never confess in writing to bringing some libations along for the walk for the mrs and I.

Stay home and pass out candy.
Leftovers will go to our school open house, Sunday school class, and even to voters on Tuesday if any is still left over.

If put on the 2024 White Sox roster, that pumpkin would’ve had the third highest WAR on the team.

Trick or treating was Saturday for us. So today is just a day outside of work where elementary halloween parties will happen this afternoon. I will be there to see the kids having fun.

waiting at the door for the costumed ones. White Sox official account was on fire for the final losses, great humor. And the accounts of several really great fans on X are worth a follow. there are some very fun people out there, many of whom are often in the 108.

Thanks for posting the story on Ravenswood Manor and the peeps who go all-out for Halloween. It is a destination neighborhood with people coming from far away to experience the spooky magic.
And if you’re in RM tonight and lucky, you might even get candy from a former Governor, probably dressed like Elvis. If you’re really lucky, you might even see him jogging down the middle of the street, limping like a zombie.

Had dental appointment at 8am. Followed by Sheba taking a nap. Lunch and another nap. Will be handing out candy tonight.

“And as the Great Pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch, he gives all the sports team owners free tax breaks.” BOO. Scary. (No banned punctuation, sorry.)
