White Sox are historically awful, Bulls let another team score over 140 points on them in regulation, the Blackhawks are stuck in an eternal rebuild where even a quasi-generational talent is struggling, and the Bears choked so hard that I wish they were on CHSN so nobody had to watch.
Everyone else is in town are somehow making the Cubs look competent by comparison despite them being underachieving losers. But hey, at least they have a stinking channel up for people to watch on providers that people actually have. As opposed to the Reinsdorf/Wirtz brain trust offering a streaming platform that’s literally more expensive than just paying for ESPN+ and a VPN subscription.
At least the Illini are looking like they’ll get into a decent bowl game.
Metra Milwaukee North trains at a standstill in north and central Lake County after a pedestrian accident in Lake Forest. Fortunate I don’t have to go in today. Hoping the best for the injured person, and for the locomotive engineer.
