Is it just me or does anyone else think the President got his “big beautiful bill” idea from Blago himself? “Big Beautiful Bill” sounds like something the likes of Blago and Filan would have uttered 20 years ago on one of his pet initiatives (health care). Plus I’m also surprised Quinn didn’t utter that quote to pension legislation.

Looks like County Market is getting out of the pharmacy business at least all Springfield-area stores, not just Chatham as I discovered last week. Illinois Times has a story about this. All prescriptions will be transferred to CVS for the Springfield stores and Walgreen’s in Chatham. This will mean no pharmacy access for downtown Springfield, other than the prescription-only Walgreens location in one of the SIU Med buildings (747 N. Rutledge):

I know this is an odd place. But keep my daughter and son in your thoughts today. She is obligated by law to resubmit her fingerprints, as a legal resident. The Trump Administration has recently declared her entire nationality a threat to our nation. I am terrified.
