They’re either completely ignored (as we see from Roskam and Davis) or they’re lied to with the claim that they’re going to replace the ACA with “something better” (Paul Ryan’s words). Yet that “something better” has still not been identified or explained despite the fact that the likes of Roskam, Davis and Ryan have voted to repeal the ACA more than 40 times over the last 5-6 years. People are going on Congressmen Shimkus’s and LaHood’s social media pages and telling them that they will be voted out in 2018. Come on…really?! There is a difference between wishful thinking and crazy talk. Darin LaHood cleared 72% in a year with a candidate who performed worse than George W. Bush in 2004 and John Shimkus had NO competition whatsoever. Those guys are doing nowhere. Even a guy like Mike Bost is really not in remote danger of losing his seat. Rodney Davis?! Yes, he should be concerned.
