His no votes are one of the reasons we are at junk status. Wherli has offered no real solutions and does not have enough votes to pass his solutions. Now is the time for members to come together and to remember where they came from. If you come from a wealthy district, lend support to your colleague that represents the working class that is struggling. Those districts are collapsing, universities may never bounce back, and several retail establishments have closed in Springfield ( a community that votes republican). Mr. Wherli’s outburst today was out of order. It’s time to move on and focus on how to get bipartisan support to finally pass a budget.
