Darren, Trump himself can hold a press conference any time he wants and read out loud what the Feds were there for. Then the FBI wouldn’t have to explain anything really.
Whack job talk radio was rattling around on this outrage and then Buck Sexton mentioned Trump should have copy of search warrant and THEY could release
being the conspiracy theorist that I am. maybe this is a ploy by the Dems to let Trumps ego get him to announce his presidential bid. prolly the only way Dems hold onto the house in next general.
Latest Wall Street Journal reporting is that the DOJ didn’t believe Trump had really turned over all the classified material he took with him to Mar a Lago. So they went back for more of it. Assuming they found what they thought was there, this does not strike me as a world-shattering crisis, just Trump discovering he’s a private citizen again and he can’t just blatantly disregard federal laws the way he once could.
===Rod saw things like all that went down yesterday… as an up day.===
Hehe, old school
I didn’t realize the constitution didn’t apply to former presidents and yes Trump could put all the guess work to rest by releasing the warrant and itemized list of articles confiscated if there were any. I won’t hold my breath.
Reporters need to ask Mr. Bailey if he supports the Defund the Police (FBI) movement that many of his GOP elected officials do now. I’m guessing Mr. Bailey wants to Defund the FBI and DOJ now.
So now Dems can campaign on the MAGA GOP’s desire to let terrorists murder our citizens, permit China to freely spy on Americans and steal our technology … Just think of all the things that won’t get investigated because MAGA wants to protect Der Leader from any legal review.
=The FBI must immediately explain their actions and provide clarity on the situation.=
The FBI tends to be pretty closed lipped about these things. But whether the target is Mike Madigan or Donald Trump the obvious explanation is the same. The FBI thinks a crime may have been committed and they’re investigating it. Now usually Republicans will immediately jump to a presumption of guilt (back the blue). And in this instance there’s a lot of available information that would support such a conclusion. But for whatever reason they seemed to be going soft on crime.
Back in early June when the possibility of a Trump endorsement being thrown Bailey’s way was being kicked around, a lot of folks said it would never happen and that there was no benefit for Trump. I believed at the time, and still do, that Trump needed support wherever he could find it. Because I knew there would come a time when he needed full throated unequivocal defenders. That time may be upon us. And Bailey went all in on the former President. There’s no turning back at this point.
I don’t imagine that Richard Irvin would have had this problem. But we know how Republican voters feel about Richard Irvin.
You mean the FBI with the Director TRUMP appointed? the guy who previously prosecuted a Democrat for documents issues as is being discussed now with Trump? No YOU explain that.
=Wait, how can I tie Trump to Illinois so we can still talk about it?=
Thank Darren Bailey for that. He could have stayed silent on the topic. He chose not to. Defending a President who lost the state by 17 points the day after his home was raided by the feds wouldn’t be my call, but I’m not advising Darren Bailey.
==raid of a former president’s home is shocking for millions of Americans==
Yes, Darren, it is shocking to find out your idol is suspected of being a crook. Some of us knew it already.
You would think the law and order party would understand that No one is above the law. Not Nixon and not Trump. Watergate played our very differently than Maralogo-gate. Trump said the FBI lay siege to his home. I don’t think that word means what he thinks it does. Jan 6 was an example of laying siege.

My brother in christ, keep your prosecution complex to yourself.
Which God/gods specifically?
Also, the difference between “Big C” and “Little C” christian says more about your relationship with christ than you mean it too.
