Without actually reading the pamphlet (because I generally tend to ignore things that are slanted by people with an obvious ax to grind) I have to ask, why is Ken Dunkin against the arts, of which dancing is a valuable one. I was considering voting for him, but his blatant mockery of dancers is just a step too far!
After losing his position as a minor-league pitcher, Montgomery Brewster (Richard Pryor) learns his great-uncle has left him $300 million. To inherit it, Brewster must spend $30 million in 30 days under a complicated set of rules that forbid him from donating too much to charity or retaining any new assets when the period is up.

The bottom line to all this campaign spending makes my hopeful heart ache…
If the forces of “Dark Money” buy what they are trying to buy, it is not the pieces of their purchase that will matter much — a safe Dunkin, no more McCann, no more Madigan.
Still no 60-30, still no Red State.
What will have been gained is that this Force will have shown that throwing huge sums of money into negative advertising can drown out all other voices that do not agree.
Vote accordingly.
(Any good lawsuits in the federal system that might overturn Citizens United? If not, there might be some good material here for a class of citizens. I am in, if needed.)
Read the text! It is like it was written by a second grader. The line Juliana Stratton “denied Mike Madigan runs ‘the Illinois House to the horrific institution of slavery’ despite his absolute control” What does that even mean?
It is like an angry rant that Maze wrote because she doesn’t agree with Dunkin’s statement. Somehow it is a negative that she doesn’t agree the house is like slavery? I think that would backfire, if anyone actually looked at this before throwing it in the trash, which after the horrible shop, they won’t.
“ancient Irish powerbroker…”
WOW. I don’t believe that there is such a thing as reverse racism, but this pamphlet is full of pathetic coded language. Assuming Dunkin wins this one next week (which he might), his political clout is numbered.

It’s actually not nearly as easy as it seems to spend Uncle Brucester’s Millions.
