Message from the Keyes campaign
Monday, Nov 1, 2004 - Posted by Rich Miller
…Alan received MULTIPLE endorsements from ministers across Illinois this weekend, including pastors with churches of TWENTY THOUSAND congregants and more! The church community is RISING UP in support of Alan’s godly stance on principles and issues of moral importance. They’re recognizing — it’s THAT important!
Finally, we’re VERY excited about our sign distribution campaign… This weekend alone, our volunteers put up literally
TENS OF THOUSANDS of Alan Keyes signs, all over the state of Illinois! There is NOWHERE the good citizens of this state
can go without seeing bright “Keyes 2004″ signs, reminding them of the RIGHT choice to make tomorrow!

I am kind of suprised that such an ultra-conservative campaign would use exclamation points and all-caps so liberally.
“The VICTORY is for GOD!”

Gee, that’s funny - I live in Illinois and haven’t seen a single “Keyes 2004″ yard sign. That mailing must be addressed to Keyes’ supporters back in Maryland. And I’m willing that guy ain’t buying this campaign fiction either!

…Rich, I’ll give you a dollar for every Keyes yard sign that’s actually in a registered Illinois voter’s yard. Your winnings ought to be enough to pay for one copy of the National Review.

I live in Southern Illinois and I have personally seen hundreds of Keyes signs in the yards of homes in the three counties I travel in throughout the week. More Keyes signs than Obama signs (believe that or not).

Yeah, Southern Illinois is Keyes Country. He may actually break 30% down there.

Sounds like those folks get free tickets to Planet God on Alan’s spaceship…
