Sunday, Feb 6, 2005 - Posted by Rich Miller From today’s Chicago Tribune comes irony as rich as Bill Gates: On Thursday, the Blagojevich administration sent out a news release headlined, “Four State Agency Directors to Visit Springfield.” That would be Springfield as in the state capital.

Pearson’s credibility on anything to do with Democratic politics in Illinois went south when he aligned himself with Ryan during the Poshard race.

Hey, that’s not fair at all. Try to keep these types of postings to a minimum, OK? I mean, I know you love the governor and all, but attacking a reporter will only get you in more trouble.

Excuse me, but I’m a Democrat who has tremendous respect for Rick Pearson. He has been around long enough to have the kind of judgment and wisdom needed when reporting on state government. And, from my point of view, he is an equal opportunity critic when things need to be criticized.

Doesn’t the governor and his staff get press clippings, anymore? Tis story ran in the Southern Illinoisan before the Tribune picked it up.
