The candidates’ emphasis on the issue is bolstered by results from a recent Tribune/WGN-TV poll that found ending public corruption to be a significant issue among likely Republican and Democratic primary voters. · Fry ‘em: All four major Republican candidates for governor say they’d lift the current moratorium on executions and resume lethal injections if elected.
