Free preschool for all kids, like free health care for all kids, is the moral thing to do.
All children in Illinois should be guaranteed free quality education, health care, food, clothing, housing and security.

The Zorn article confirms what a slick coward this guy is. Where’s the testiculur virility. He only has that when he’s beating down a poor grandfather and sickly grandmother who’s only wish is to see their grandchildren.

The Tribune should have to report that pre school story as a campaign contribution.
Florida’s program is on the “cheap?” Illinois is a leader? Oklahoma and Georgia passed their programs first… And there is no mention of the Pew Foundation funding this initiative in much the same manner they funded campaign finance reform (ie. a PR fraud), instead it’s these tireless libs who have been working on it for decades. Please.
We’re saw low take up rates for Canadian prescription drugs, we’ve seen low take up rates for All Kids and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw low take up rates for universal pre-school, as well.

Free schooling for all from birth. That’s the next thing. Families will no longer be necessary. Parental responsibility gone by the wayside. Just stick tour wick in and light somebody’s fire…then walk away.
That’s insanity…Only in America.

Why limit free schools to kids? What is wrong with including adults? We need free schooling all the way through the PhD level. That way all people have the fair chance to develop their skills. Think of all the competent technical skills that would develop to compete on an international level. There must be some type of sociological unfairness in there somehow. While we are at it might as well push for All People health coverage, All Utility payments, All Food, All Gas. How will it be paid for? It’s not being paid for now so what is the difference?

It seems like the haters are full of venom and resentment because of all of the well deserved good press that the governor is getting.
Illinois is a leader in health care for children and education just like Rod promised during his last campaign.
Thank you,Governor Blagojevich, for your strong leadership and for moving Illinois to the head of the class.
We need four more years to continue the progress that the people of Illinois have come to expect after a 27 year dry spell.

Promises made,Promises kept!!!!!
Rod for Illinois!

Good press for the Governor? I’m all for it if it’s accurate and honest. Most people are. This wasn’t.

What the heck does the city boy governor know about BBQ & Bluegrass !? Talk about patronizing a really nice bunch of people and part of our state. He declared (or was it I do declare} Bluegrass Days & BBQ “way on down in Southern Illinois” where he so eloquently pointed out they were welll “”its different than where he came from”" the last time he was in those parts, way down ole’ Sparta way. I hear though he loves to square dance {which incidentally is the state dance} & calls too & he’s working on his for the event!! “”Pairem’ on up & here we go lets start with the dosey doe….grab those gals & hold on to your ‘breachiz..go like hell you sons of b#$@^%’s”" Roddy “southern style” Bladgo Square Dancing & Auctioneers School. Leave them alone GROD.
