Let’s see…the IFT waits until Friday afternoon to endorse Blagojevich, issues a press release not a press conference, and leads with the fact that they have not always agreed with the governor.
I guess the IFT had to endorse someone, but it doesn’t look like they’re out to do the Governor any big favors.

Thompson probably wrote Ryan’s speech to the court. Big Jim is as sleazy as Ryan, but much, much smarter.
And please, spare us the crocodile tears about the Ryans’ financial situation. Jail is free. And even if he loses part of his pension, Mrs. R. will be far better off than most Illinois retirees on what remains.

“White feels if people are qualified, it’s discriminatory not to hire them.” That statement smacks of sheer arrogance and reflects the self-serving attitude his administration has shown for the last seven years. The only qualification these employees have is they are White’s and Benigno’s relatives.

Geez. Rod’s energy plan is so similar to all of his plans. Big numbers, big promises and little chance of ever working. That boy will say or do anything to get his face in the press for free.
