Though I’m far from the final word on the Theology of the matter, one has reason to doubt Stephens is headed in that direction.

This is very strange. The best article today was Carol Marin’s ” Barack, we thought you were different”. Since Rich writes for the same paper I find it strange that this subject is not discussed ?
