The 2007 legislative session ends on Thursday, and lawmakers are dangerously close to leaving Springfield without any improvements in school funding and quality.

While officials delay improvements to school funding and quality, Illinois children face another year of overcrowded classrooms, outdated materials and unsafe buildings.
