I guess the Daily Herald FORGOT that there are three legally established major parties in Illinois, all of them with a presidential primary election! The Green Party has four candidates on the primary ballot for President. They’re missing 1/3.

With regard to the Governor’s continued fight to withold federal subpoenas from FOIA requests, can the BGA FOIA the feds to get them released quicker? Or are they exempt from FOIA?

The Arlington Heights trustees that vote for slot machines will no longer be trustees after the next election.
They are seriously mistaken if they think the residents of the village want slot machines.

Sen. Durbin will have another battle in Nov., when he runs against Mike Psak, a conservative who has been campaigning for more than a year. His petition was signed by voters who live in 96 counties. He was endorsed by the Illinois Center Right Coalition and the Illinois Federation for Right to Life. Last Sun., six IL U.S. Senate candidates were scheduled to debate, and Psak was the only one of the republican candidates, who will be on the ballot, who attended. Good grief Phil, what are you a campaign aide for Mr. Psak? Unless something changes, the race between Martin, Psak & Sauerberg looks like a race to see who gets beaten by Durbin.
