Suarez stands by her ad, produces evidence

* Well, didn’t this story just get interesting?…
Rich,
I was just alerted to your post saying that someone else wrote the piece about women in the military. As I told you, I stand by my ad. Here is the original letter to the editor that was published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch on October 14, 1998. There is only one Kurt Prenzler (that we can find) living in the United States and he was living in Brentwood, MO at the time.
I think what you found was a post on Facebook by a gentleman trying to confront Prenzler with the words and Prenzler deleted it.
Please call me if you have any questions.

Marleen Suarez
Democratic Candidate - Madison County Treasurer
* The letter to the editor…
Oh, that’s gonna sting.
…Adding… If Suarez wants to raise any money to get that ad on the air, then she probably ought to update her fundraising link, which no longer functions.

And now he has joined ChopperJim and CommandoMakeItUp in Illinois. Sounds like special moment for the GOPies

Well played!

No wonder he didn’t reply to the first attack.

Ditto Walk.

Hard to believe that anyone would take the time to write something so ignorant, put it an envelope, lick a stamp and walk to the mailbox.
There’s a history of women fighting in combat going back to ancient times.

This knckle-dragging mentality runs deep within the GOP. Prenzler obviously had the courage to write it in 1998, he ought to have to courage in 2014 to defend what he wrote. (Although, honestly, there is no defense for that outrageous belief).

hey, if male U. S. Senators are sexist idiots (see Sen. Kirsten Gilibrand’s story of interactions) I guess this guy thinks he’s in training for public office. Prenzler is a jerk.

Here’s a tip, when you find yourself quoting Deuteronomy, stop.
- A guy... - Tuesday, Sep 2, 14 @ 5:23 pm:
47, you’re correct. Now tell me you typed that without spellcheck and I’ll really be a disciple.
- 47th Ward - Tuesday, Sep 2, 14 @ 5:24 pm:
A guy, you must not read my comments, which almost always have typos. I don’t know how to use spell check in this blog.

“…and the U.S Navy has transformed itself into a floating brothel.” So — did Mr. Prenzler want to ban men from joining the military so that they would stop exploiting women? I’d really LIKE to believe he was trying to do something, um, creative like that. But no, probably not!

I guess the worst that can be said about me is that I plagiarized what Mr. Prenzler wrote. But, then again, I gave credit where credit was due…. 47th Ward’s tip are words to live by.
