Two likeable teams. Rooting for Kansas City because they’re representing the AL Central, the Cubs treated Swain poorly and he deserves another chance at managing and a KC series win would help (Ricky Renteria did a good job w/ the Cubs in his one season and also deserves another chance: I hope the Sox hire him for bench coach).

KC in six.

Mets in 6 or 7, pitching is way too good. Mets pound Cueto tonight.

It was a great game yesterday.
The Cubs are going to have to stock up on additional pitchers if the team is going to make a meaningful stretch run again. In days of yore, the World Series amounted to an additional 4 to 7 games. Now the postseason can mean an additional 11 to 20 games to be played after the regular season. The Cubs were not well positioned to go the distance this year.
Toughest division in MLB and they ran into a buzz saw of a pitching staff. It will be interesting to see what Pitt, STL and the Cubs do in the off season.
I will watch every WS game and may the best team win. They are both interesting teams playing on an elite level, as last night’s competition demonstrated. It’s cool how much one can appreciate and enjoy the games for the love of baseball when you’re not all emotionally wrapped up in one of the teams.

The Mets thought they were the hottest team in baseball until they ran into the Royals. Great games and great baseball, and thanks to the inventor of the DVR so I can walk away and come back and not miss anything except the awful Harold Reynolds commentary.

Signed,

To the Post,
Great baseball, how will they keep up this drama for a whole series?

FOX network sports coverage is as poor as their political coverage. Harold Reynolds is to baseball what Bill O’Reilly is to politics. Just sayin’

Have any more 5 hour games and the talk of speeding up the rate of play will pop up again (not that I disagree with it…)
Not picking a winner, don’t know much about either team, just bummed it wasn’t the Jays and the Cubs.

I have a couple things I need to do, but the World Series will be on and I’m sure there will be enough to keep my interest.
The Cubs? Next year, with a couple very specific add-ons, and they keep some health? Whoa…
