I only go for the questions. They should have a time limit on speeches to only 20 minutes to guarantee 20 minutes of questions. Senator Kirk is the best at questions! He gives short answers specifically so that more questions can be asked. Rauner is in the record as Candidate and Governor-Elect asking for the sunset to occur. Imagine the difference in “leverage” has Gov-Elect Rauner was silent, and now questioning why the Democrats didn’t stop the tax to expire on their own. I remember as a lad seeing framed photographs of George Dunne with jet black hair gracing offices at the Cook County Forest Preserves. The photo probably dated from when he was a legislator decades earlier.
