Your midday mental health break
Monday, Nov 21, 2016 - Posted by Rich Miller * My niece Reagan Miller is a wonderful young lady and a senior at Booker T Washington High School in Dallas, Texas. She’s also an incredibly talented singer. Take a couple of minutes and listen… Wow. I think it’s safe to say that Mozart would be proud. The translation is here. Heh.

She did a lovely job with a difficult aria to sing. You should be proud!
- Rich Miller - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 12:57 pm:
=== You should be proud! ===
I am. The whole family is.
And she’s just one of many super-talented nieces and nephews.
- Ole' Nelson - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:01 pm:
Now that is impressive! Great to see such talent being developed so young!
- Give Me A Break - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:03 pm:
Wow, now that young lady has some pipes and talent.
That performance is worthy of being password protected Rich.
- Anonymous - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:10 pm:
Excellente! Dallas area is flush with great things to do, and Reagan’s talent on display adds yet more. Brava! Now, on another point, Rich. Should too many of your relatives show such high cultured talent, you’re “I’m just a regular guy’ persona may become suspect.
- Oswego Willy - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:12 pm:
She’s such a talented young woman. She makes this look so effortless and yet it’s so very difficult to show such beautiful range and depth of voice without incredible talent and skill.
Wow.
Thanks for sharing.

lol
Regular people can be inspired by amazing talent.
- Tomacci - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:14 pm:
The title on the YT video should say “In uomini…”, NOT “In unomini…” Other than that, wonderful performance!
- Madigan's Lapdog - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:15 pm:
Bravo!
- Rich Miller - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:18 pm:
Tomacci, my brother posted it. He’s not exactly known for his fluency in Italian.
- Doug - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:29 pm:
Tomacci, yeah, the uncultured dad posted it, my daughter already sent me a text to correct it.
- Fiercely Independent - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 1:42 pm:
Wow, what a great voice! Excellent job!
- Amalia - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 2:00 pm:
WOW! she is great (and very soothing and distracting). she has the whole package at a very young age, vocal ability, acting ability, and presentation with true style (dress—WANT!). hope some university has recognized her talent for further training in music and whatever else she wants. know some universities up north that would be good.
- Anon - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 2:01 pm:
WOW. she’s going places.
- Belle - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 2:35 pm:
She is terrific. It takes so much work and talent to perform at her level.
- Doug - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 2:58 pm:
Amelia, this performance was for a showcase her Performing Arts High School gives once a year for their seniors. She performed in front of multiple colleges and universities during the showcase last week. Reagan has been offered 3 accedemic full rides as of this point with more offers expected in the near future. While she loves music and to sing, her ultimate goal is to become a medical doctor.
- Doug - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 3:00 pm:
** academic

You should be so incredibly proud of your daughter with her accomplishments and her unmistakeable talents.
Congratulations to her. The hard work she has put in, in her many disciplines is easily seen.
- Reagans Grandma - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 3:31 pm:
Reagan is talented, beautiful, uber intelligent, a hard worker, but most of all she has a beautiful soul. But as Rich has mentioned, she is just one of our many grandchildren who have the same qualities. We are very proud of all of them.
- Reagan's Papa - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 3:45 pm:
She is so accomplished at everything she does And it seems so effortless!
- Doug - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 4:00 pm:

Terrific, kudos to your niece. When can we expect a showing for the prodigal uncle?
- illini - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 5:18 pm:
Fantastic talent, great voice. Best wishes for a promosing future.
One of my nieces got her degree in Music/Fine Arts and had to perform solos in 5 different languages. I could not even begin to understand a word but it was beautiful.
- Name - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 6:19 pm:
So its fair to say most viewers are Reagan fans!
- Honeybear - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 6:40 pm:
Excellent diction! Music performance was my first career. I am very very delighted to see young forks experiencing performance on such a high level. It really is an experience that she can treasure and build upon. I also thought her poise was out of this world good. That’s truly exceptional and an indicator of her ability to perform under pressure. Wow, really great job.
- Honeybear - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 6:42 pm:
Sorry young folks not young forks. Obviously I was a music major.
- Bluecollargal - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 8:18 pm:
A lovely woman and compelling talented performer. Enjoyed this.
- Tom K. - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 9:12 pm:
It was obvious that she loves to perform, very nice. When I was her age, I couldn’t even spell opara.
- Bystander - Monday, Nov 21, 16 @ 11:48 pm:
