Democrats have essentially run the State since January 1 2003 and notwithstanding Rauner’s election they still are in charge due to the legislative control. Does. My one objectively believe they have done a good job and that Illinois is better off because of their reign?

If they’re still in charge notwithstanding Rauner’s election (to the most constitutionally powerful position in the state), there’s no real point in Rauner being governor, is there?
