=Mentionin’ vets with GovJunk’s Quincy scandal still hot eeems dumb for any GOPie, but hey it outbound BossToss=
Disregarding how indecipherable this post is, Quincy, IL seems to be way outside Mike Bost’ district boundaries. I doubt this Quincy Vet’s Home debacle will register with his voters one bit.
To the ad: it a good spot, hitting on the points important to his constituency.
He is a representative who has refused to hold a town hall. His lack of intellect would probably find him overmatched quickly and then his volcanic temper would take over and it could get ugly…just ask his neighbor whose beagle he shot while penned up. He opposes the Affordable CareAct that many in his impoverished district rely on including many Rural Hospitals that would an immediate economic crisis without it. Additionally, hospitals are one of the major employers in this area. He backed the tax cut that only benefited the 1%. He supports the tariffs that have a major negative impact on farmers and consumers in this district.
He shot a dog, remember that was played last time didn’t work once folks found out it bit his daughter. They also tried showing him unhinged on the House floor, didn’t work made people think he’s a fighter.
It’s all about the district you run in not about the perceived notions of progressive elites from DC.
Knowing both candidates personally, I have to admit, both come off as a bit rough. Neither would win a Mr. Congeniality contest. I am still predicting a narrow win for Bost. Only because this district has turned so red.

Wait -
did an incumbent tell me what they did while in office and justify why I should voter for them again?
Yup.
This is how you get reelected.

Standard phone-it-in spot, except for the urban night scene.
What is that, Hong Kong night market stock roll, sped up? Is it supposed to represent the Chinese hordes “comin’ to steal our jobs?”

I don’t think so. Unless vague platitudes do it for you.

Maybe he should also remind his constituents to be protective to their “vicious” family dogs. Just saying.

Do most compassionate people you know tell you that they are compassionate? Not in my experience.

From the looks of this ad, I guess no African Americans live in his district?

Solid ad. B
Doesn’t say anything of substance. Shows a lot of great smiling and hand shaking. The big grandkid picture at the end is good.

And Mike Bost, dog shooter.
Lest we forget this courageous and principled politician once shot a penned beagle for biting his daughter.

Yeah
Vague platitudes beats “he shot a dog”, so he’s a bad man.

Shooting snoopy in the cage certainly was a concrete “accomplishment.”
He set out to do it and succeeded.
