Rich, I wanted to revise a “meh” comment I made a while back regarding a Bloomberg ad and I’m trying it here since the subject is kinda open for chat (sorry if it’s in error). What has changed is when I watch my choice of sports on TV (motor); I strongly suspect I’m in the minority not being a Republican. The only candidate I have noted advertising on televised motorsports is Mr. Bloomberg and he’s been doing it a lot. It has made an impression on me and represented the first feeling of positivity I’ve felt regarding presidential politics in six or seven years. It got me thinking: Perhaps what we need is a total bas%ard rich guy on *our* side for at least one term to bang things back into at least a recognizable form. Then after things are back to normal we can try to elect another likable regular (non gazillinaire) politician like former president Obama again. It’s likely many disagree with me and that’s okay, but I do feel a tad more optimistic.
At the end of the day, I’ll support the Democratic nominee of course, just like I always have, including… last time, ugh.
