I had a green party candidate knock on my door for the 87th district (Tim Butler incumbent). She had 20 signatures of the 250 she said she needed. Third party is hard enough but during a pandemic. I signed and wished her luck.

Who is this Green Party candidate? I live in the 99th (Chatham) but this is the first I’ve heard about a third-party candidacy in any of the Springfield-area State Rep districts (Butler’s 87th, Scherer’s 96th, Murphy’s 99th).

Drove up to the Wisconsin cottage. Other than the bank and Walgreens, people are not wearing masks.
Lot’s of Illinois plates up here and it seems those folks picked up the no mask attitude too.
I just don’t see the big problem about wearing a mask when you are in public.
Coronavirus Warden here. Coronavirus sends no warning, so put your mask on! I’m seeing store employees unmasked (or masked with noses exposed), as well as customers. But I guess when they need the emergency hospitals set back up it will register. *sigh*
I’m guessing you haven’t seen the video footage of people proclaiming that wearing a mask is a sign that you are meek and stupid, and that government proclamations requiring masks are tyranny.
Apparently, not wearing a mask is one of the better ways to “pwn the libs”.
It’s a shame we aren’t allowed to put “Refused to wear a mask during a pandemic, and died of Covid-19″ on their tombstones.

So are we having a MLB season or not? Players reject the latest offer and the owners announce a season schedule? What the heck?

I’m hopeful for a baseball season. I’m happy the state is moving forward to the next phase soon. Moving forward. Have a good day.
