1) Yuengling reached an agreement with Molson to distribute to the entire country. Yuengling in Illinois, finally!
2) A New York Times short article noted “If the [Illinois] Fair Tax had been in place over the past two decades, it would have effectively transferred $50 billion in wealth from the richest 3 percent to everyone else.”
The performance of the White Sox is one of the few pleasures of the pandemic period. None of it fees real, of course, but watching the games is something to look forward to every night.
One angle that wasn’t brought up in yesterday’s Big Ten discussion: What will they do when 20-30 members of a team end up under quarantine? Or when half of the coaching staff is under quarantine? Will they still play? Will there be an asterisk next to the win or loss? Will some teams be forced to forfeit some games?

There are never asterisks. The student athlete football mercenaries are here to bring in the money. They get benefits that the other students and “student athletes” in daily testing. I’m so glad the scam of student athletes is finally exposed. And who needs doctors when you have college football coaches that know health better.
Sounds like High School Football is very upset on the Governors decision. Would be nice to see how surrounding states are making their determinations…..what metrics are they using…bet they would share if asked
boysRemember several years ago when concussions were a major issue with playing football? Teams were unable to play due to lack of players. Parents were worried and refused to let the boys play.
Now we have the virus and parents don’t care. Why is the virus not important?
I am amazed by both sides on the virus. An educated and generally smart neighbor told me that the virus will disappear the day after the election. Others seem reluctant to recognize that we are better at treating the sick and limiting the spread than we were in March.
My family will stay in lockdown until the vaccine is widely available. Too many other health risks to take chances.
I can see others taking more risks as rapid testing becomes available. The U of I testing seems to have changed the game.
The question is, will Yeungling taste as good if you can just grab a six pack at the gas station? I always feel like the rarity makes it taste sweeter. Leinies and Coors started to taste like swamp water once they went national.
Does a decent 4th quarter against 3rd string cornerbacks erase the first three quarters of mediocrity for Mitch Trubisky? I don’t think so, but he made it difficult for Nagy to pull him for the moment.
And the defense looked lousy. Hopefully it was just rust, but they made Adrian Peterson look like he was 25 years old on Sunday. Typical Lions collapse. The only way the Bears could stop Peterson was if the Lions stopped giving him the ball. Thankfully, they did.
And don’t forget Stafford’s winning TD toss was dropped inexplicably, but not because the receiver was covered. He wasn’t.

Check out the green/yellow/red Covid metrics the Big Ten put in place. If these metrics get into red team is shut down for minimum of 7 days or until numbers improve out of red.
The schedule has no off days, so a forfeit is likely, but it hasn’t been directly addressed in the plan.
Waffle House has the old vibe of a neighborhood diner. In better times you could sit with a stranger at the counter seats and have a good conversation. People who work there are generally nice and decent. What I like best you can see your meal prepared. With a outgoing line cook you could a show too.
The pork chops, hashbrowns smothered and chunked with an overeasy egg are a delight I am wanting to enjoy again.

Any relation between Waffle House and Huddle House restaurants?
There has been a Huddle House for about 15 years or so just north of Springfield (across the street from the truck stop at Williamsville, west of I-55 Exit 109 exit).
I don’t know if Huddle and Waffle are related but they are similar in menu and atmosphere. Really like both but prefer WH because when we eat there it means we are somewhere in the south on vacation.

I’ve felt like a Bandit moving Coors to Atlanta these past months since Indiana got Yuengling.

Can someone please get a Waffle House to the collar county area? Thanks.

If you have one foot in a fire and one foot in a bucket of ice water, on average you are comfortable. That’s Illinois weather oftentimes.

Congrats to the Sox, on the doorstep to clinching postseason play.
Thank goodness the Cubs have had the Cleveland ball club this past series. Their bullpen pitching is worse than the Cubs.
