Friday, Oct 2, 2020 - Posted by Rich Miller * I’d heard that Michael McHaney, the Clay County judge who had given the state fits with his multiple rulings in favor of Rep. Darren Bailey (R-Xenia), had been transferred. So, I checked with Clay County Circuit Clerk Crystal Ballard, who said judges in the circuit are on a 6-month rotation and McHaney was rotated to Effingham County. The Effingham County Circuit Clerk’s office confirmed to me today that McHaney is now there and is handling criminal cases. * From early July…  * The original caption…
