Hope everyone remembered to pick any remaining peppers and tomatoes in their gardens last night. If not, they are likely ready for the freezer now(peppers) or the compost pile (tomatoes)
Never LaRussa. If this is their ploy to get me to accept a cheater like AJ Hinch (though I still will not accept Alex Cora), it is working. If this is real, it is crazy. They have come this far, don’t p*** it away with a horrible manager hire.
There’s nothing like hiring a 78 year old who abhors statistical analysis and hasn’t managed in almost 10 years to relate to a team of young, budding stars.
I give credit to Reinsdorf being loyal to his former employees. I’m with Steve Stone. A retired catcher would fit. And given what we now know is the alternative Ron Karkovice is looking better all the time.

How about if the Sox get George Mitterwald and Rick Sutcliffe for manager and pitching coach? Then they’d have the Baron and Red Baron.
Kidding aside, congrats to Sox GM Rick Hahn for winning exec of the year and helping build a winning team with a brighter future.

We did remember to cover all the potted flowers, including the mums. However, the wildflower garden in the front yard was on its’ own.

The Bears being 4 and 1 is the best part of 2020 so far.
How it is that they are 4 and 1 is definitely a 2020 factor. Those other teams have fans and it’s still 2020 for them.
