On a serious note, funeral home directors might be hurting more than someone might callously think as many of their services with the highest margin involve in person open casket services which for a variety of factors people have not been opting to hold.
There’s also been a hit on the flower business as fewer services means fewer flowers sent.
it’s a small town in southern IL (not far from the southern tip), 12000 residents. You wouldn’t think they’d be big enough to need such a marketing campaign. It is interesting that one of the pictures that the town website displays in a loop is of a cemetery. I guess they are prepared.

I’m going to say it again, I will be highly surpised if local HD’s and certainly local LEOs deal with it all.
the general stance down here is that when push comes to shove - it’s not going to be enforced. At all.
That said, could somebody please kidnap me and transport me to some part of IL that isn’t over run with this foolishness? I’m going to trapped at home forever with this kind of rampant idiocy.
