yesterday’s story about Alderman Tunney serving customers in his restaurant in violation of COVID related restrictions was covered by every single Chicago media outlet not to mention every random blog in his ward. mary ann ahern even reported that tunney who is also the chair of the zoning committee, was the recipient of the very first outdoor seating permit from the city. great day for public service and sacrifice. thanks alderman tunney.

RIP Dick Allen. He only played 3 seasons for the White Sox but his ‘72 MVP year was truly great. He made the red pinstripe uniforms seem respectable. Great memories from a time better than this one.

Illini can’t afford to lose another National TV game. Everyone understood Baylor was going to be a challenge but Cameron won’t be the usual Cameron tonight, Illini need to avoid getting their reputation muddied up because the conference schedule is going to be brutal with multiple losses.
