Well one of the football officials organizations I belong to is having a meeting tonight to get ready for the ’second season’ (what they are calling early this year in some states).
Any thoughts on the odds we play football games before fall?
Bruce Rauner’s ghost is alive and well. Democrats are proposing to get rid of collective bargaining for public employees. That police bill is really something to read.
I wonder how many bills are going to pass this weekend where the language has never before been made public. Never ceases to amaze me how the Illinois General Assembly doesn’t like to actually show the voters what they’re doing.
Question - is it just my older laptop with Firefox, or has the St Louis Post Dispatch put everything behind a firewall?

To Anyone Remember ref St. Louis Post paywall: I was able to get to stories from home page, running Firefox 84.0.1 on Linux Mint.
To Skeptic ref General Assembly: Anyone that assumes the GA knows what they’re doing hasn’t read the IL Sup Ct rulings throwing out their laws.

As with the June reopening after the initial shutdown, very long lines returned to at least the SOS drivers’ facility on West Elston (Roger McAuliffe Building) when it reopened Tuesday morning after the second COVID wave:
