LaRussa - ok with guys taking roids to hit home runs and pad stats; not ok with guy hitting 3-0 pitch in a one-sided game to hit a home run and pad stats.
Respect for the game - crucial.
Respect for the laws and rules - eh.

Media Literacy bill passed the Senate Education Committee on a vote of 11-2 with Republican Senators Bailey and Bryant voting no. It now goes to the Senate floor for a vote.
Miguel Sano only hit two home runs, what are the odds he hits three? Way too high. Because he did. How many games have been blown because of managerial decisions this year? Four? Five?
I think we might be under estimating Bailey’s potential to win the GOP primary. That’s fine for us to do, but it’d be a big mistake for any of his opponents.
He could be our dollar store version of Boris Johnson.

Mayor Lightfoot is only allowing 1 on 1 media interviews with Black or Brown reports. All others are not allowed to interview her for her 2 year mayoral anniversary. Very inclusive of her.

The hiring of TLR is going about as expected..
A new DUI comes to light in the spring, confused about new rules in extra innings, sticks to unwritten rules, won’t back his own player about breaking unwritten rules.
When she was campaigning for the gubernatorial nomination, Corrine Wood was shaking hands with commuters. A friend of mine was going to board the Burlington Northern Metra Line. He saw Wood and greeted her by saying “Who needs Viagra? We’ve got Wood!” They both laughed out loud together.
Jim Ryan won the nomination, but sometimes I think Corrine Wood might have given Blagojevich a better race.

Well I would like the 5.0 inches of rain that pooled in our yard and garden to drain. 5.0 inches since Sunday 6 PM.

Tony LaRussa is dead wrong with the way he handled Yermin Mercedes.
I didn’t like the hire and now he is undermining players publicly.
- Henry - Wednesday, May 19, 21 @ 8:52 am:
Yes. Fire La Russa.

Does Rick have the authority/strength to fire La Russa? He should have, and should do so, but I wonder, considering who insisted on “hiring” TLR.
