1) Wrigleyville is not a Chicago neighborhood (Lake View)
2) They look like a uniform that a horrible and snotty 16” softball team wears but loses all 3 games in the tourney
3) It had to be designed by someone not from Chicago

As a Sox fan I didn’t much appreciate the “Southside” uniforms. The Wrigleywille uniforms aren’t terrible. But neither Chicago version is as bad as the Red Sox yellow Nike uniforms.
I am not a fan of these baskets of single serving 50 ml sized nippy bottles at convenience stores and gas stations. These displays are to encourage alcoholism.

That’s a fairly well done wiki. One caveat– it’s Lake View, sometimes written as Lakeview.

I like the hat. And I like the unis better than the Southside ones (shouldn’t it have been South Side?). But overall, both teams are gonna be lookin’ like they’re wearing pajamas (though not quite as pajama-y as those 70’s Sox unis).

They spelled Rickettsville wrong.

Southside unis sold out, these aren’t. Enough said.

Tribune says these were in the works for 18 months. Like most group projects, one person probably did all the work 17 months in.
Southsider, and while I prefer those unis over these, the Cubs hat is much better IMO.

The Sox game last night was a gem, one of the best of the season.

Perfect for the Cubbies fans not in Chicago.
Might as well move them to Arlington Park.

Today’s “Wrigleyville” is to actual Chicago neighborhoods as the “It’s a Small World” ride at Disneyworld is to actual countries around the World

the snotty response from the media person about the Cubs being for the entire city says it all. jealous of the Southside uni success.
