A programming note
Tuesday, Jul 20, 2021 - Posted by Rich Miller * I have routine appointments, errands to run and other stuff to do this afternoon and tomorrow. Keep an eye on the live coverage post starting at 3 o’clock today because I think you’ll see some news media interviews with Gov. JB Pritzker pop up. That’s on my own to-do list tomorrow, among other things. Anyway, use this as an open thread or to discuss any news the governor might make. Be nice to each other. Thanks.

From Twitter, the ILGOP is getting in on the act of banning CRT and fundraising off of it. There is clearly no leadership in this party, to stop wasting time on manufactured culture wars and pandering to the shrinking base. Is anybody over there not upset at super-minority status, or has the towel been thrown in?

Reorganizing the Illinois higher ed system… including junior colleges… seems more of a logical step… or secure that first?
