Fingers crossed, but today should be the day that the FDA approves Covid vaccines for 5 to 11 year olds. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve, nervous and excited for something I’ve been waiting for for so long.
Thrilled my grandchildren will be vaccinated soon. Appalled that nurses are getting TROs from being fired over vaccines — using the Right of Conscience Act as an excuse while the GA fiddles and possibly even balks over passing a clarifying amendment.
Bulls gutted out a tough road win last night. I wouldn’t print the championship jerseys at this point, but at least there’s a competitive NBA team in town for the first time in many years.
Now as far as the Hawks go? That’s looking like a long road back.

==What is the greater number at the end of the season?
Bulls wins or Hawk losses?==
Along those lines, when do you think the Bears will get their 4th win?
After Sunday, I honestly think they won’t win again until maybe Thanksgiving at Detroit. Then maybe one or two more winnable games (against the Giants and maybe at Seattle).

==White Sox. 10-26-2005. What a post season record.==
And 20 years prior to the day, 10-26-1985. Not only Back to the Future Day, but also a day that lives in Cardinal fan infamy. Don Denkinger’s blown 1st base call.
Is anyone still following the Kyle Rittenhouse case? Very disturbed by the judge ruling the prosecutors cannot refer to the persons shot as victims but that they can be described by defense lawyers as looters.
“Some of them could play basketball and some of them were absolute trash,” DeShields said. From an article about Diamond DeShields coaching the men on tonight’s Bachelorette. LOL.
friday @10:56–I agree with you about calling them “looters.” That’s fairly prejudicial (although I can’t immediately think of a good more neutral alternative). But I do think calling them “victims” is too suggestive of a legal conclusion to be allowed. If it was self defense, they were assailants; if it was not self defense, they are victims.

I say Hawk losses, ugh

How did I miss the Walmart Yodel boy from southern Illinois? He is a state treasure.
Hope is invited to State Fair soon!

I am wondering if cigarette packaging will ever have picture health warnings in the US?
